Our Teaching Methods

Suzuki Violin Lessons

The Suzuki Method focuses on early-age musical development through listening, repetition, and parental involvement. Students will progress through carefully structured books, developing technique, musicality, and a lifelong love for the violin.

Fiddle Lessons

Fiddle lessons will blend the Suzuki method outlined above with traditional folk styles, ear training, and improvisation. Students will learn a variety of styles such as bluegrass, old-time, and Celtic, with an emphasis on rhythm, bowing techniques, and stylistic ornamentation.

Voice Lessons

Vocal instruction will center on healthy technique, breath control, pitch accuracy, and repertoire tailored to the student’s age and musical interests. Students will develop their unique voice through exercises, performance skills, and ear training.

Piano Lessons

Piano students will receive foundational training in technique, sight-reading, and music theory. Lessons will be personalized to meet goals ranging from beginner basics to advanced repertoire, preparing students for performance and/or auditions.

Studio Events & Enrichment

Recitals

We hold two annual studio recitals providing students an opportunity to perform in a supportive environment. Recitals emphasize stage presence, musical expression, and celebrate student progress.

Music Camps

Camps will focus on ensemble playing, workshops, and fun performance projects.  They will be designed to cater various skill levels and promote musical growth in a collaborative setting. Any upcoming camps will be announced per 16 week semester.
